Fireworks light up the sky over the Huangpu River as colored lights play on fountains at last night's grand opening ceremony for the 2010 World Expo, attended by thousands of spectators and some 20 world leaders. The six-month fair, expected to attract more than 70 million visitors from home and abroad, officially opens today.
